Help for Drug and Alcohol Addiction

We Care and Friends participates in helping people gain admission to long term drug and alcohol rehabilitation programs and rebuild their life upon their return to the community. We Care and Friends clients have a 95% success rate in the programs. This exceptional rate can be explained by We Care and Friends' commitment to assist clients before, during and after the program, life skills taught inthe programs, and the opportunity for clients to leave the areas where they have been living a life of addiction. Upon completion of the program, many clients even return to volunteer in their own community through We Care and Friends.
We Care and Friends can help each client for less than $800 annually with:
- completion of a drug and alcohol treatment program
- intervention with police
- representation in court
- organization of pre-admission health appointments
- meetings with families
- transportation to the drug treatment center
- costs of the drug treatment center for clients in need
- re-integration to the community through education, work and housing
Drug addiction crosses boundaries of gender, race and economic standing and affects not only the addict but also children, siblings, parents and friends of these community members. Our clients come for help with their addiction to drugs and alcohol when they are:
- unable to manage their own lives
- unable to maintain a job
- unable to stay healthy
- unable to consistently care for their family members or keep them together
- unable to stop emotionally or physically abusing children and partners
We Care and Friends is committed to drug and alcohol rehabilitation to reduce the affects addiction has on the community members, and the financial drain on law enforcement, legal sysems, social work and the health care system.
Due to periodic funding limitations We Care and Friends has frequently lost clients who seek admission to rehabilitation. We need your commitment to support and maintain this successful program that helps to rebuild the individuals, families and the community around us.
