Helping hundreds of families and children

For nearly 20 years, We Care and Friends has held a holiday toy drive, providing toys for hundreds of children whose families cannot afford gifts.  The toys are provided by citizens at local drop sites in teh Annapolis area, as weel as from sponsors.

Almost 200 families in need provide their children's holiday wish list to We Care and Friends. With the assistance of a local volunteer group, a number of these wish lists are provided to individuals or organizations that will sponsor a family in need and bring the gifts to the Stanton Community Center in Annapolis for distribution.  More gifts are donated through an extensive toy drive and the generosity of numerous individuals.  Volunteers sort this collection of gifts efore the holiday.  On Christams Eve, We Care and Friends and Santa provide an evening of fun for the families as the gifts are distributed to the children and their families.
